I'm not in the habit of going around Yelp glad-handing food establishments. I'm five foot nothin, weighing in at close to 3 bills. You'll believe me when I say I take my food seriously. I've been all over this country devouring cuisine, both good and bad. One thing I can say with a belly full of confidence is that Primo's is in the upper echelon of pizza, and that ain't no jive. The sauce is bright red and delicious. The mushrooms are from a can, but please believe me that they are much better this way vs fresh as they are meatier and provide a nice mouth feel. The crust, oh the crust, to try it is a must!

But srsly, give Primo's a try. It's good stuff Maynard.

WTF happened to this place. Looks like an ownership change and the new people just don't give a f#*k.
I have lived in this area for over 20 years and this was always my go to "better pizza" place. Three visits in a row in the past three months for slices. All three times no slices and the guy behind the counter tells me they will be ready in 15 minutes. If I wanted a whole pizza I would have ordered one and waited 15 minutes. I don't. And I have walked out all three times. I have no idea why I even tried a third time. My bad!
Also, about three months ago I happened to be at this Primo's when one of the employees slid one of the glass doors where they keep the slices so hard it flew off the track and shattered on the floor. I was in there tonight, for the final time, and it still is not fixed. Instead of two sliding glass doors there is only one. Not very smart, energy efficient or sanitary.
Way to ruin what used to be an institution around here.

Walked into the place and it looked empty. One other customer spoke with the guy who was cooking. The cook tried to get assistance from a co-worker who said, "no," that he wouldn't help. We waited way too long for two pieces of pizza which were just ok. The one star was just for the taste.

Primo's was one of the best kept secrets in Michigan. I'm not sure what happened, but the inside is extremely dirty. There is trash on the floors, and it hasn't been swept or mopped in some time. Ready made slices aren't available anymore, the spaghetti and meatballs recipe has changed, and customer service has taken a severe hit. Unfortunately, I won't be a returning customer.
